If you chat on a site
Each site's chat keeps its own profile for you: the name and picture you chat with, and your messages. To delete it, open that chat on the site or in the Embedded Chat app, tap your picture at the top and choose Delete my account.
- Your profile in that chat and every message you posted there are deleted.
- If you chat on more than one site, do it in each chat: they are separate profiles.
- The list of chats you joined in the app is kept only on your phone. Remove a chat from the list, or uninstall the app, to clear it.
If you run a chat on your site
Sign in at embedded-chat.com or in the Embedded Chat Admin app, open Profile and, under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Your account, your chat rooms with every message in them, your visitors' profiles, themes, emotes and webhooks are deleted.
- If you pay for a plan, the subscription is cancelled first, so you won't be charged again.
- If you installed us from Shopify, uninstall the app from your Shopify admin first.
Can't sign in?
Write to sales@devcloudsoftware.com from the email address on the account, or tell us the site and the name you chat with, and we will delete it for you.
